This blog exists for one reason:
To put the focus back on the work.

Creative Brief was built to restore something adland quietly lost - a space where ad folk could talk honestly about creative work. Not behind closed doors. Not buried in buzzwords. And not filtered through the politeness of LinkedIn.

We’ve lost a certain kind of conversation.
A place to share unfiltered feedback - sometimes funny, sometimes constructive, sometimes brutally honest. The kind of feedback that sharpened instincts, challenged thinking, and, at its best, made the work better.

I came up reading those kinds of takes. And yes, I had work torn apart more than once. But I also learned from it. Not just as an art director, but as someone figuring out how to take feedback, rework, and push better ideas through.

Without that kind of open, critical commentary, something’s gone missing - not for clients or consumers, but for us. The people who make the work.

Creative Brief is a small attempt to bring that spirit back - in a cleaner, more constructive way. It’s a curated archive of creative work from around the world, with space to say what you really think. Anonymously, if you want. But always moderated, and always focused on the work.

No agency reshuffles or hires.
No press release spin.
No quotes about deep long line thinking.

Just the work. And the space to respond to it.

If that’s your thing - welcome.
